Tools I’ve built.
Not everything I build is for a client. These two are mine. Both have a free version you can use today, and neither of them wants your email address before you can try it.
Image Toolkit.
A set of free image tools that run in your browser: convert HEIC to JPG, compress, resize, crop, and turn a pile of images into a PDF. It works in batches, so you can drop in thirty photos rather than doing them one at a time.
The useful part is that nothing is uploaded anywhere. The work happens on your own machine, so your images never leave it and never sit on somebody else’s server waiting to be deleted. No account, no sign-up, no watermark.
BoxCart.
A WordPress plugin for click and collect. It gives a shop a proper ordering system with time slots, a storefront and guest checkout, and it does all of that without WooCommerce underneath it. It’s on the WordPress.org plugin directory, and the free version is free for good rather than a trial that quietly runs out.
I built it for the sort of business that wants online orders for collection rather than a full e-commerce setup: bakeries, butchers, greengrocers, farm shops. Pro adds Stripe payments, multiple locations and reporting, though plenty of shops never need any of it.
